The White Stripes was an American rock duo, formed in 1997 in Detroit, Michigan. The group consisted of drummer Meg White (drums and occasional vocals) and songwriter Jack White (vocals, guitar, and keyboards). Meg and Jack White were previously married to each other, but are now divorced. After releasing several singles and three albums within the Detroit music scene, the White Stripes rose to prominence in 2002, as part of the garage rock revival scene. Their successful and critically acclaimed albums White Blood Cells and Elephant drew them attention from a large variety of media outlets in the United States and the United Kingdom, with the single "Seven Nation Army" and its now-iconic guitar riff becoming a huge hit. The band recorded a further two albums, Get Behind Me Satan in 2005 and Icky Thump in 2007. The group was dissolved in 2011 after a lengthy hiatus from performing and recording.

The Puppini Sisters are a close harmony vocal trio composed of Italian Marcella Puppini and English Kate Mullins and Emma Smith. Although the three are not related, the name was chosen in tribute to The Andrews Sisters. Puppini first studied fashion design at St. Martins School of Art, and later music at Trinity College of Music in London where she met Mullins and original member Rosanna Schura, who was later replaced by Stephanie O'Brien.

Admired for the purity of her voice, she was considered one of the most versatile vocalists of the era. Her 1952 song "You Belong to Me" topped the charts in the United States and United Kingdom, and made her the first woman to have a No. 1 hit on the UK Singles Chart. She was a 1961 Grammy Award winner for an album of comedic interpretations of popular songs produced with her second husband, Paul Weston.

Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma that was formed in 2001 by drummer Cody Hanson, guitarist Joe 'Blower' Garvey, and singer Austin Winkler. The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

Antony Laurence Carey (born October 16, 1953, Turlock, California) is a keyboard player best known for his work with Rainbow. One of his earliest musical experiences was in a band called Blessings, in which he played until 1975 when Ritchie Blackmore discovered and hired him as keyboardist for Rainbow. He played with Rainbow on two world tours, until 1977. After his departure from Rainbow he began a solo career, releasing albums under his own name as well under the moniker of Planet P Project, and producing for and performing with other artists.
