Kenneth William David Hensley (born 24 August 1945, Plumstead, South East London, England) is a keyboard player (especially Hammond organ), guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer best known for his work with Uriah Heep during the 1970s. He wrote or cowrote the majority of Uriah Heep's songs during this period, including such hits as "Look at Yourself", "Lady in Black" (on both of which he also sang lead vocals), "Easy Livin'", "Stealin'" and "Free Me".

Billy Ocean (born Leslie Charles; 21 January 1950) is a British recording artist who had a string of R&B international pop hits in the 1970s and 1980s. He was the most popular British-based R&B singer-songwriter of the early to mid-1980s.After scoring his first four UK top 20 successes, seven years passed before he accumulated a series of transatlantic successes, including three U.S. number ones. In 1985, Ocean won the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his worldwide hit, "Caribbean Queen", and in 1987 was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Male.

In 2002, the University of Westminster, London awarded Ocean an honorary doctorate of music. In 2010, Ocean was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the MOBO Awards. On 29 July 2011, Ocean became a Companion of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, presented to him by Sir Paul McCartney.

Aqua is a Danish-Norwegian dance-pop group, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single "Barbie Girl." The group formed in 1989 and achieved huge success across the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles. The group released two albums: Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before splitting up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most successful Danish-Norwegian band ever.

Black Country Communion was an English-American hard rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Formed in 2009, the band was a supergroup comprising bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes, guitarist and vocalist Joe Bonamassa, drummer Jason Bonham, and keyboardist Derek Sherinian. Originally formed by Hughes and Bonamassa with the help of producer Kevin Shirley, the group released its debut album Black Country in September 2010. Second album 2 followed in June 2011, which was promoted on a European tour later in the year. The band released its third album Afterglow in October 2012.

Linda Hoyle was the vocalist of English jazz-rock band Affinity. Her singing style combines rock, blues, soul and jazz. Her brief musical career, and the fact of non-commercial play, caused her music to be obscure. She played with Affinity from 1968 to 1971. In 1970, the band produced the album Affinity that had positive critical reviews. A pure representant of the early 1970s classic rock, the album is a combination of rock, jazz, soul, and progressive music.
